The YouTube for TV application is an HTML5 webapp that runs on hundreds of different devices to serve YouTube videos to millions of users in the Living Room. A single application serves devices with radically different hardware profiles, from low-end Blu-ray Disc players, to PS4 and XBox Ones, to Chromecasts.

For over two years I have been a member of the team of interactive software engineers building the next generation of YouTube for TV. We strive to build an elegant, robust application that adapts to changing business and design requirements, and runs consistently on an extraordinarily diverse and challenging hardware ecosystem.

Our application is built for the living room and is available on myriad smart TVs and other living room devices. It is also available on the web: Check it out here. (Internet Explorer is not supported)
